About Aaira
Where it started
Aaira didn't begin as a fashion label. It began with a smaller, quieter idea, that the objects a woman keeps close to her, the ones she doesn't always think to make beautiful, deserve to be made with care anyway. A notebook she writes her private thoughts in. A ring she puts on without thinking. A dupatta she wraps a certain way because it's hers. That was the whole idea. Make the ordinary intentional.
From there, Aaira grew in the way most honest things grow, one piece at a time, not according to a plan. Jewellery came. Then clothing, rooted in the embroidery, the zari work, the silhouettes that have always meant something in Indian womenswear. Each addition wasn't a pivot away from what came before, it was the same instinct, applied somewhere new.
Where we are now
Today, Aaira is clothing-first, richly detailed suit sets, sarees, and kurtas that carry tradition in their construction, alongside a newer collection of standalone dresses, each with a completely different character. Some quiet and dark. Some soft and unguarded. What ties them together isn't a single look, it's the belief behind them: that a woman is never just one thing, and her clothing shouldn't ask her to be.
Jewellery and stationery are still part of the world of Aaira too, smaller in focus now, but no less considered. They were where this began, and they haven't stopped mattering just because clothing leads the way forward.
What we believe
We believe intention is visible, even in small things, in the weight of a fabric, the placement of a stitch, the way a piece is packaged before it ever reaches you. We believe heritage isn't something to preserve behind glass, it's something to wear, move in, and make your own. And we believe every woman holds more than one version of herself, and deserves clothing, and small everyday objects that don't ask her to pick just one.
